PAST WORK

THE LEGO MOVIE

I believe that great stories come to life in a community where each person is valued for who they are. This is where artists do their best work.

As the on-set Executive Producer of The Lego Movie, I was part of the film from the first idea of making a film built out of Lego through its release in 2014. For six years, I worked with Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Dan Lin to develop the film.

As a director, I use the same skills that I used while leading the Lego team. I create spaces where courage triumphs over fear and where everybody has a voice, while never losing sight of the big picture or creative vision I have for a project.

Disney Branded Television has teamed with Baobab Studios on The Witchverse, an animated anthology series based on Baobab’s Emmy-winning VR experience and animated short film Baba Yaga.

Disney Television Animation is overseeing the development of the project for Disney+. Eric Darnell, writer-director of Baba Yaga, Madagascar, Antz and Baobab’s co-founder and chief creative officer, will executive-produce the series.

The Witchverse is described as a global celebration of the international cultural phenomena of witches, their magic and their universal connection to nature. Each witch-i-sode will comically explore and upend common misconceptions surrounding global witch mythology and lore from a mélange of cultures and perspectives around the world.

Madison Square Garden

Fashion Show & Album Release

In February 2016, my friends and I produced one of the largest fashion shows in history — the first fashion show to take place in Madison Square Garden.

We partnered with artist Vanessa Beecroft to create a living painting. Working closely with Vanessa, we started with a single photograph as inspiration. Just weeks later, fans around the world saw the spectacle themselves: 1,000 extras, 10,000 pounds of vintage clothing individually sourced, dyed, and distressed, a meticulous living recreation of the photograph, and the release of the album "The Life of Pablo."

The sold-out show in Madison Square Garden streamed live in 1,000 movie theaters and on Time Square, while over 20 million people watched it online.
