In February of 2016, my partners at Required Reading and I were brought in by Kanye West to produce one of the largest fashion shows ever. It was the first fashion show to take place in Madison Square Garden. With only three weeks until the historical “Life of Pablo” album listening party and Yeezy Season 3 fashion show, we partnered with Kanye's team and artist Vanessa Beecroft to create a living painting. Working closely with Vanessa, we started with a single photograph as inspiration. Just weeks later, fans around the world saw the spectacle themselves: 1,000 extras, 10,000 pounds of vintage clothing individually sourced, dyed, and distressed, a meticulous living recreation of the photograph, all set to the soundtrack of Kanye's new album "The Life of Pablo." The sold out show in Madison Square Garden streamed live in 1,000 movie theaters and on Time Square. Over 20 million people watched it online.
