<image:title>About - Seanne Winslow is an award winning writer, director, and producer known for creating stories that move across cultures and stay with audiences long after the credits roll. Her work spans Netflix, Disney, and Warner Bros., where she helped launch global franchises including The LEGO Movie, Sherlock Holmes, and IT.</image:title>
<image:caption>She wrote Nowhere for Netflix, an overnight global hit, and directed the acclaimed feature The Falconer, which won 14 festival awards. She is currently developing New Skin, a psychological thriller series with Fremantle and Me+You Productions in the UK, alongside an active slate of original film and television projects across the US and Europe. Seanne’s work is rooted in a simple belief. The stories that change the world start with the stories we tell ourselves, and the stories we tell each other. That belief is why she also coaches. Trained as a Wayfinder Coach under Martha Beck, Seanne works with a select group of high level creatives, founders, and executives each season. She helps them remove roadblocks, clarify what is true, and make high integrity decisions under ambiguity and pressure, so their lives and careers can actually hold the person they are becoming. She also advises institutions and leaders working at the intersection of culture and conflict. Seanne serves as Senior Entertainment Advisor to Resetting the Table, bringing conflict transformation and storytelling tools into Hollywood and media spaces navigating complexity in public. In addition, she directs the Film Strand of the EU funded Transatlantic Rising Stars Project, connecting European filmmakers with US industry leaders and strengthening transatlantic creative collaboration. Whether she is building worlds on screen, coaching one on one, or helping organizations communicate across difference, the throughline is the same. Clarity. Courage. Storytelling that moves people, lives, and culture forward.</image:caption>

<image:caption>“With The Falconer, Sjoberg and Winslow have crafted a film that inspires and challenges, communicates immensely yet often stops to listen. There's not a false note played here. There are no trumped up histrionics or faux conflicts manufactured for the sake of drama. Instead, Sjoberg and Winslow take a true to life, fantastical and inspired story and they allow it to unfold with the patience of poets who understand the magic in these words. Indeed, The Falconer is a rather magical cinematic experience.”</image:caption>

      <image:title>Press - Filmmaker Magazine</image:title>
<image:caption>“Winslow noted that she’d worked on The Lego Movie for six years resulting in Warner Brothers giving her an EP credit. (She is still the only person of any gender to have gotten one without working her way up from AP.) Producers are the ones risking their reputation for the writer and director, she emphasized. Winslow then reflected on shooting The Falconer in Oman – the first narrative feature to be filmed in the small nation, and her first as a co-director. She said that she wanted to tell the story “from” the country, not “about” the country, and added that reductionist thinking is an ongoing problem with westerners working overseas. To counteract bias it’s important to “consume content about people who don’t look like you or have your background,” and to “honor people who are doing badass work that are not like you.”</image:caption>

      <image:title>Press - The Hollywood Reporter</image:title>
<image:caption>“Sjoberg and Winslow approach the narrative with the same delicate caution that Cai shows his beloved falcon, shading it with muted colors and a contemplative score (by Samuel Stewart). Their script places as much importance on what characters aren’t saying as on what they are, leaning into wordless giggles, companionable silences or worried gazes into the distance. Even as the boys’ moves become bigger and bolder — at one point, they steal a car to meet a dangerous smuggler — the film is scrupulous about not sensationalizing them. The Falconer wants to keep the focus on the subtly shifting dynamic between the boys, not on the excitement (or peril) of their adventure.”</image:caption>

      <image:title>Press - The Hollywood Reporter</image:title>
<image:caption>“Ahead of its launch at AFM, The Falconer has already been building up momentum on the U.S. festival circuit. The film won best narrative feature at BendFilm, best narrative premiere at the Heartland International Film Festival, and it was named a staff pick at the Austin Film Festival prior to the event’s start. It recently picked up the best narrative feature award and best director at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, and just yesterday won the jury award for best narrative feature, best screenwriters, and best cinematography at the Newport Beach Film Festival.”</image:caption>

      <image:title>Current Projects - THE FALCONER</image:title>
<image:caption>Inspired by true events, THE FALCONER is about two best friends, Tariq, the son of a poor beekeeper, and Cai, a privileged Westerner. They work at a dilapidated zoo in Oman. Their carefree friendship is challenged when Tariq promises to help his sister, Alia, escape from an abusive marriage. Cai’s worldview and love for animals is pitted against Tariq’s daring plan to steal animals from the zoo and sell them to save Alia. They are forced to wrestle with morally complex choices that reveal the vast distance between their worlds. “With The Falconer, Sjoberg and Winslow have crafted a film that inspires and challenges, communicates immensely yet often stops to listen. <image:title>Past Projects - THE LEGO MOVIE</image:title>
<image:caption>I believe that great stories come to life in a community where each person is valued for who they are. This is where artists do their best work. As the on-set Executive Producer of The Lego Movie, I was part of the film from the first idea of making a film built out of Lego through its release in 2014. For six years, I worked with Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Dan Lin to develop the film. As a director, I use the same skills that I used while leading the Lego team. I create spaces where courage triumphs over fear and where everybody has a voice, while never losing sight of the big picture or creative vision I have for a project.</image:caption>

Disney Television Animation is overseeing the development of the project for Disney+. Eric Darnell, writer-director of Baba Yaga, Madagascar, Antz and Baobab’s co-founder and chief creative officer, will executive-produce the series. The Witchverse is described as a global celebration of the international cultural phenomena of witches, their magic and their universal connection to nature. <image:caption>In February 2016, my friends and I produced one of the largest fashion shows in history — the first fashion show to take place in Madison Square Garden. We partnered with artist Vanessa Beecroft to create a living painting. Working closely with Vanessa, we started with a single photograph as inspiration. Just weeks later, fans around the world saw the spectacle themselves: 1,000 extras, 10,000 pounds of vintage clothing individually sourced, dyed, and distressed, a meticulous living recreation of the photograph, and the release of the album "The Life of Pablo." The sold-out show in Madison Square Garden streamed live in 1,000 movie theaters and on Time Square, while over 20 million people watched it online.</image:caption>
