As the on-set Executive Producer of The Lego Movie, I was part of the film from the first idea of making a film built out of Lego through its release in 2014. For six years, I worked with Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Dan Lin to develop the film. As a director, I use the same skills that I used while leading the Lego team. Disney Television Animation is overseeing the development of the project for Disney+. Eric Darnell, writer-director of Baba Yaga, Madagascar, Antz and Baobab’s co-founder and chief creative officer, will executive-produce the series. The Witchverse is described as a global celebration of the international cultural phenomena of witches, their magic and their universal connection to nature. We partnered with artist Vanessa Beecroft to create a living painting. Working closely with Vanessa, we started with a single photograph as inspiration. Just weeks later, fans around the world saw the spectacle themselves: 1,000 extras, 10,000 pounds of vintage clothing individually sourced, dyed, and distressed, a meticulous living recreation of the photograph, and the release of the album "The Life of Pablo."
